I went to a club where Culkin was listed as DJing, which actually meant he plugged his iPod into the speakers and drank at the bar. He has fairly bland taste in music. He wears a lot of rings.
The oddest part of the evening was when back-to-back Michael Jackson songs came on and we remembered that Culkin hung out with MJ as a child.
Also, there were crafts.
My dashboard used to have things other than Beyonce on it…

This is what we in the business like to call “a stretch.”
Fair enough.
That’s really hard to say, so to make it easier for myself I will answer really specifically and limit it to “bands,” ignoring electronic musicians, MCs, composers, singer-songwriters, solo acts, jazz musicians, etc.
So, bands. For the pantheon of “top” bands, Wilco, Radiohead, Pavement, Animal Collective are locks. I can’t make a convincing enough case for any other band to rise above the pack enough for number five, so it’s a rotating position — unless I can count Brad Mehldau’s original trio as a band.
Top five songs is impossible.
